Boundless charging
Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, the world's first plug-in hybrid SUV, is a plug-in hybrid that has been welcomed with open arms by the people of Sweden and elsewhere in the world. This model has topped the sales list for a number of years.
With the Outlander PHEV, Mitsubishi is aiming to offer its customers worry-free and sustainable car ownership. Therefore, from the 2019 model year this plug-in hybrid will be supplied with a mode 3 cable from DEFA. The new models will be launched in September.
- It feels completely right to add the DEFA mode 3 as a complement when launching the new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV model. This will make charging more flexible for our customers, says Patrik Jansson, Service Market Manager at Mitsubishi Motors.
The mode 3 cable will make it possible to charge the car more quickly at the many charging stations with type 2 sockets. These are available in public environments and in more and more housing cooperatives, workplaces, hotels and sports facilities, both in Sweden and elsewhere in Europe. The mode 3 cable is a complement to the mode 2 cable, which is also supplied with the car at the time of delivery.
- DEFA and Mitsubishi have worked together for a long time on battery charging, engine heating and alarm. We have tested one another and know that we deliver quality and worry-free and convenient car ownership, both individually and together. It goes without saying that we should work together on the charging of this PHEV, and we are greatly enjoying doing so. Offering a quality product that is supplied with the car from the outset involves taking responsibility for the customer's experience of car ownership, says Charlotte Eisner, Global Sales and Market Director at DEFA e-mobility.
We wish all new and existing Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV owners a wonderful summer and hope to see you on the roads and at charging stations both in Sweden and abroad!
