Harald A. Møller picks DEFA as provider of smart EV charging solutions
After a comprehensive process Harald A. Møller AS has chosen DEFA as its provider of smart EV charging solutions. Harald A. Møller is the largest car dealership group in the Nordics and the importer of Volkswagen, Audi, ŠKODA and SEAT. According to the agreement, DEFA will provide complete charging solutions for Harald A. Møllers dealerships in Norway and the Baltics. The facilities will be connected to DEFAs administration system CloudCharge and the payment service EVcloud.
- We are extremely excited about providing our dealerships with complete charging solutions and offering our customers test winning charging stations from DEFA, says Ulf Tore Hekneby, Managing Director at Harald A. Møller. The need for charging infrastructure is already great, and it will only continue to grow. It’s extremely important to have an experienced and competent partner that can offer solutions that can be customized to our needs, both now and in the future. We have a long-standing relationship DEFA within other product segments and there’s no doubt that we’ve selected a partner that will meet all our expectations, says Hekneby.
The agreement also includes an exclusive “Installed & Ready” offer for all of Harald A. Møllers EV customers. Customers waiting for their Audi e-tron are now offered a test winning charging station from DEFA with a complete installation. The station was recently crowned the winner of a comprehensive test performed by the German car owners’ association ADAC. The test described the winner as safe, reliable and easy to use. The charging stations can be ordered with a smart solution for dynamic load balancing that optimizes the use of power in homes with limited capacity.
Audi e-tron was launched in September of last year and has received a wealth of positive reviews from car journalists and others in the field.
- We are very proud that Harald A. Møller has chosen us their provider of EV charging solutions. DEFA has been connecting cars to the electric grid for over 60 years, and we’re offering stablehardware and a well-tested process in the form of the “Installed and ready” concept, says Bård Klungseth, CEO in the DEFA Group.
Charging stations from DEFA are also highly relevant for Volkswagens many EV customers. Volkswagen has been selling electric cars since its launch of e-up! in 2013. The e-golf followed in 2014. Both models are popular in Sweden and Norway.
