Hedin Bil takes the lead on the charging issue

With net sales of SEK 12 billion (2017) and 91 facilities in the Nordic region, and 31 car marques, of which 10 are rechargeable models, Hedin Bil is currently the most important facilitator in the switch to a fossil-free vehicle fleet. By taking the lead on the charging issue, Hedin Bil is building a solid foundation to permit powerful action in a rapidly growing market.

Hedin Bil aims to make it easy for both homeowners and companies with large vehicle fleets to switch to electric cars.

The charging solutions offered to customers are also installed at workshops and facilities in the Nordic region, with an educational gain in that the equipment that people handle on a daily basis is also the equipment that is sold to customers.

- We are extremely motivated and view this initiative as a way of offering the entire solution to our customers, not just the car. We are now reinforcing our partnership with DEFA by also including e-mobility, and we have had good experience of both quality and implementation for a long time now, says Victor Liljenberg, Brand Manager for NISSAN at HedinBil.

The DEFAcademy training programme, a complete e-mobility training course, is now being used by the organisation for quality assurance, securing its leading position. This will involve all sales staff in the first phase.

- This training course takes Darwin's survival of the fittest theory as its starting point, which from our standpoint means that the people with the most knowledge will be in the strongest position from which to guide customers correctly as they make the transition to fossil-free, offering the best solutions,  says Charlotte Eisner, Global Sales and Market Director at DEFA e-mobility.
